Does Dr. Miller come out to the house for emergencies?
After hours / emergency visits are referred to The Eastern Maine Emergency Veterinary Clinic in Brewer: 207-989-6267. They are open every evening, weekends and holidays, providing constant care with a dedicated and knowledgable staff.
Do you provide care for horses and large animals?
Dr. Miller provides quality health care for small animals: your cats, dogs, birds, reptiles and other exotic pets in the familiar comfort of their own environment. The Village Vet does not have the necessary equipment to treat horses and farm animals.
Can porcupine quills be removed during a house call?
In order for porcupine quills to be removed humanely and completely, sedation is required. Therefore the environment of a full service clinic/hospital is recommended.
What if our pets require surgery?
Surgeries can be performed by Dr. Miller at several area Practices where he has hospital priveleges.
Where can we get our pets' prescriptions filled?
Medications required to treat your pets can be obtained through our on-line pharmacy. Prescriptions can also be filled at local Veterinary hospitals or retail pharmacies. Dr. Miller will provide prescriptions that can be filled by owners in the most convenient and cost-effective method of their choice. Do you provide health certificates so our pets can travel?
Yes. Dr. Miller provides examinations and the paperwork you will need to travel with your pets.

Does your online store provide secure checkout?
Yes. Secure sites have an immediate change in the URL once you navigate into the checkout area. Instead of the standard “http://…” it should change to “https://…”

Is there a Rewards Program set up for your online store?

Can I order prescription medicine for my pets online ?
